or almond milk Raspberry Morning Beauty
This is our all times favorite vegan smoothie recipe!
This smooth and refreshing raspberry smoothie is sweet and tart at the same time and it is an excellent way to start your day. Do not be turned away by cauliflower. Cauliflower by itself does not have any specific flavor, but we use it in our recipes for additional fiber, protein, and vitamins. This recipe does not call for additional sweeteners, but if you would like it a bit sweeter, you can add a tablespoon of organic honey.
Ingredients:
1 apple
1 banana
1 cup of fresh cauliflower
1 cup of frozen raspberries
1 inch of ginger (sliced)
1 can of coconut milk
1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
How to make it:
Gather the ingredients. Peal the banana and put it into the blender first. Your blender will have an easier time starting up with softer fruits, rather than frozen. Trust me, your blender will thank you for this for many years to come. Wash the apple, slice it and remove its core. Rinse and slice ginger root. Some people prefer using pealed ginger in their recipes. It is up to you if you would like to do that.
Place the apple, raspberries, cauliflower, sliced ginger into the blender and pour 1 can of coconut milk. You can substitute coconut juice with almond, oat, or cashew milk. Cover the blender and blend for about 1 minute or until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
